It is hard to answer without knowing why it is treif. If it is because a non-kosher piece of meat was placed on it, and it will need libun chamur, then from a practical standpoint you might as well get yourself another one because this one won’t be worth much after libun chamur. Additionally, it usually has a Teflon coating, which is controversial if it can be koshered, as it is made of plastic.
