I have a dentist appointment for a filling on a fast day. I saw in another question that you recommend against mouth wash on a fast.
Dental work usually involves washing the mouth out, sometimes with water. Do I need to reschedule the appointment?

Thank you for your question.
If you can, it is better for you to change the date of the appointment. If you can’t change the appointment, and you will have to wash your mouth out, make sure to keep your chin down, and just rinse your teeth, without having the water go to the back of your mouth where it can get swallowed.
