If I lost something and made yeiush on it, then it was found. Am I allowed to say its mine and give the simanim to get it back or is that considered lying since now the finder really could keep it?

Thank you for your question.
Since the item was found after you were already meyayesh (gave up on getting the item back), essentially it now belongs to the person who found it. If he wants, he can do “lifnim meshuras hadin” and return it to you, but only if he wants to. You can say that it is (was) yours, and if he wants to give it back to you, he can, but since it was after yiyush, you would have to inform him that he found it after yiyush, and if he still wants to give it to you, you may then take it.
