I’m female.I’d like to know if it’s ok to say Tehilim at a water park (which is part of the recommended intense therapy for my Down’s Syndrome baby grandson). I’m accompanying my daughter to help,and at the moment would not be looking at anyone. She is holding the baby in the water but needs me nearby. I’d just be engrossed in my Tehilim.
In other words,I need to be here,would love to finish my Tehilim-and I would not be looking at anything improper while saying the prakim.

Although for a man to say Tehillim would not be permitted, since seeing the exposed parts of a woman’s body will cause him improper thoughts, this is only for men. A woman may[1] say brachos of learn, or say Tehillim etc. although she can see another woman or man that is improperly dressed. If the person’s ervah (genital’s) are actually uncovered then she may also not daven when she can see it.
