If one only has kelim that are not toveled and wants to do hagalah before toveling them, must he borrow a pot that has already been toveled, or can he use his own?

Hi,
When a person has keilim that need hagalah and tevila, hagalah should be done first, and only afterwards should he do the tevila. In fact, according to some opinions if the tevila was done first, it has to be done again (without a bracha).
Itis permitted to use the pot to kasher itself, because right now you are not using it for eating, rather as a way to clean itself. Therefore, the fact that it wasn’t toveled yet is not an issue
