Gel/putty for cleaning

I have a sticky putty gel that I use to clean my table, etc. (picks up dust/crumbs). Is there a problem (regarding kosher or pesach) if one of the ingredients is glycerin (not sure the percentage) and the gel is non-toxic. It might leave a little residue on the table. Thanks

Thank you for your question.

I wouldn’t be nervous about it. It most probably doesn’t contain animal glycerin, as most glycerin nowadays is from vegetable sources. Even if it does contain animal glycerin, it is only a possibility that some residue got on your table. Even if it did, it would be botil because it would be such a minute amount.

Best wishes
