safek kilayim

Question:

I am in chutz laretz and I have a patch of ground on one side I planted carrots and the other side I planted watermelons. However right after I planted the carrots I hosed the area down with a very strong hose and I am nervous some carrot seeds may have gone into the watermelon side
Being that right when I was planting the watermelon seeds I saw a germinated seed (although it may be it was a flower seed , since it looked like one ) so I made a very small mound of other dirt and planted the watermelon on the mound IS this enough or its kilayim?

Answer:

Please see the following link, which discusses a similar question to yours.

Does the prohibition of Kilayim for fruits, vegetables, grains and herbs, etc… apply to Chutz LaAretz?

Best wishes
