Can I put stain remover on a shirt on chol ha-moed so when I wash it after chag there is more chance the stain will fully come out?
Can I use stain remover on a kitchen surface to try and remove a stain?

Answer:
It is permitted to spot clean on Chol Hamoed, additionally if you are doing int now in order to avoid a loss it is not considered hachana.
There is no issue with putting stain cleaner to a kitchen surface.
