Following off a question that I read, one may taste meat and spit it out and remain parve after cleaning one’s mouth. I have a further question. If a person is fleishig, is he allowed to taste milky without swallowing?

This is an interesting question, and there are different opinions amoung the poskim. Essentially one should be stringent with this and not taste milchig while fleishig. However, if it is needed, such as if it is needed to taste milk for a baby, when one is still fleishig, it would be permitted to taste it with one’s tongue and spit it out.
