Question:
I daven in a shul where the ladies daven upstairs and the window overlooking the Bais Medrash serves as a one way see out, but the men can’t see in. I find on occasion some ladies (might be guests etc.) might open the window to see the davening sometimes halfway and sometimes all the way. Does that passul the mechitza? Also, what should I do if I find myself in such a situation b’shas masseh? (Telling a gabbai or Rav might not always be an option) TY

My assumption is that the women looking down are dressed properly, and that you only mean to ask regarding the fact that there is no mechitzah there. Since the women are on a balcony, they are considered in a different domain. Therefore, if the men don’t see them, because they are facing the other way, it is not something that you should make an issue over it, as it is only temporary.
