My freezer has a ice tray because it automatically makes ice. We shut that off for Shabbos. My question is when it is shut off and it will not generate any new ice. Are we allowed to move the tray from the fridge? In order to take out the ice that was already in there.

If the ice tray is made to be taken out of the freezer, and isn’t attached to it, it is permitted to take it out on Shabbos. This is because it is only placed inside the freezer, and not attached to it.
