Owning and managing real estate can pose a number of Shabbos issues, such as having gentile workers work for you on Shabbos, Shabbos earnings, having a partnership with a gentile in a business on Shabbos. I would suggest that you buy the Sefer Commerce and Shabbos by Rabbi Yosef Kuschner and read Part 1 Chapters1,3 Part 2 Chapters 2,3,8,11,12.
