I am wondering if one is allowed to design and sell xmas holiday ornaments which customers would hang on their holiday trees. The designs need not contain any religious words or symbols but may contain words like “merry christmas,” “first christmas,” etc.
These “ornaments,” can also serve other purposes such as car rearview mirror hangers, and as trinkets for other non-religious related matters.

Hello,
On one hand the decorations are not servicing the actual idol worship, (such as making candles for burning in front of the avoda zara, therefore we can’t say that it is categorically not allowed. However, on the other hand it is helping them for their holiday which involves avoda zara. Therefore, it is not prohibited however it should still not be done, as we should distance ourselves from avoda zara as much as we can.
