Hi if I’ve sold Chametz in a cupboard to a goy but there’s food or something in that cupboard I need for Pesach that isn’t chometz, can I take them out on pesach or is it considered “stealing”?
Answer:
the things in the cupboard that are not chometz weren’t sold to the goy. They are however in his possesion, since the place is also sold to him. If you need something, as a one-time occurance you may take what you need out of the cupboard.
