.There are multiple empty offices in the place that I work. The owners work in a different office. A friend wants to use an empty office for personal use. My bosses have shown in the past that they don’t mind, when people use the empty space. Does my friend need permission to use the office? He can ask my bosses but feels uncomfortable.




It is hard to judge what your boss will allow and what he won’t, because it is a personal thing, and depends on his personality. However in general if it is used, as a one time use, and not as if you are taking it over for personal use, it stands to reason that he would be alright with.
