I bought a new tallis because my weekday tallis became frayed. Is it OK to designate my new tallis as my Shabbos Tallis and my present Shabbos Tallis will become my weekday tallis?
Answer:
Yes, you may. The nicer tallis, which is the newer one, goes for Shabbos, and older one is for the weekdays.
