Hello,
my husband put a package of chicken down on top of some melted dairy ice cream in the freezer. I moved it very soon after to the fridge, but I'm wondering if I should be concerned that maybe some dairy ice cream stuck to the package for more than 24 hours (though I didn't notice any). Could taste even transfer that way- through sitting on a closed pack of chicken?

There is no need to be concerned about this, as you didn’t notice anything there. Therefore, even if there was a minute amount, that you couldn’t see, there is no need to be concerned that it went thru the package, and into your chicken.
