All of these actions are permitted on Rosh Chodesh, as on Rosh Chodesh it is permitted to do melacha, and all of these types of work. There is a custom among women not to sew or do laundry, but other than that, all work is permitted.
When Rosh Chodesh is two days, both days are the same.
