Question:
I placed a hot pareve pot on top of a wet dairy pan in the sink. The dairy pan had been filled with water, potentially with hot water that I had just spilled out of the pareve pot. Would that be an issue, since I know the taste can be transferred through heat? Would the pareve pot now be dairy because of its contact with the dairy pan? Thanks
Answer:
Hello,
It is sufficient to wash the pareve pot of any remnants of milk from the milky pot. It does not need hagala.
Best wishes
