MAKEUP 9 DAYS

1. Can I buy makeup/ skin care during the 9 days?
2. Can I use skin care I bought during the 3 weeks? (now during the 9 days)

Answer:

Hello,

1. It is permitted to buy skin care products in the nine days, if needed. The only things we may not buy during the nine days are clothing, and expensive items. Skin care products do not fall under any of these two categories.
2. It is permitted to use skin care products during the nine days, but not on Tisha B’av unless it for a medical reason.
