1) I’m expecting a baby soon, iy”H, and I wanted to know if the baby is born on tisha b’av, am I allowed to wash up afterwards in a shower?
2) Some neighbors and I are saying tehillim for 40 days for an older single we know. What should I do on Tisha b’Av- say my 2 perekim after chatzos or after tisha b’av ends?
Answer:
- If you will be dirty from the birth, etc. you can wash yourself around to clean yourself of the dirt, etc.
- It should be said after Tisha B’av ends.
