Someone is wanting to charge me for learning Torah.While I realise that this is within Halacha,is there any advice on how much they should charge. I have been offered lessons at 80 dollars/400 shekels an hour.Is that Ok.How is the amount calcuated in Halacha

It would go according to the local customs, therefore the rate would depend on where you are, as the rate varies from country to country. For example, private tutoring in E. Yisroel is a lot cheaper than it is in the states. In the states that might be the rate, however in Eretz Yisroel, 400 shekels an our seems quite steep.
