A person asked me to help her to do something that I thing could be considered gezel. She has to use an application or a program and to have a free trial she has to insert her university credentials. She told me that her credentials weren’t enough and she asked me to give her my university credentials (we attend two different universities) so she can use them to have the free trial. I apologized and told her that I’m not comfortable with this. I did good? Thank you

In the big picture what you did is correct, as we may not help someone steal from someone else, and if the company would not consent to her credentials, she is not entitled to the free program. (If, however, the company doesn’t really care, and the difference in universities doesn’t really matter to them, then it would be permitted for you to do it. But for that you would have to know more about their policies and why they are not allowing her credentials, but yours are good.)
