Respecting the neighbor (by a Noahide)

Question:

Kvod HaRav, I’m a ben Noach.
I had a bad behavior towards a person. I didn’t offend her, but for example I explicitly didn’t listen to her when she spoke, I didn’t answer her or I told her to shut up sometimes. As answer to this she offended me accusing me of being misogynous and also racist if I’m not mistaken. She is a goyah and doesn’t follow the Torah and she talked in a unpleasant way about it. She said substantially that the Tanakh is misogynous and that the creation’s narration in Bereshit 1 is wrong, she’s pro homosexuality, doesn’t believe in HaShem etc. Am I obliged to apologize to her because I didn’t respect her?

Answer:

Hello,

Although you should be nice to everyone when possible, and it might be a nice thing to apologize. In retrospect, you don’t have an obligation to do so.

Have a good day.
