Hi,
This Shabbos I opened the freezer to place something I and it started to beep, so I quickly closed it. I was aware it was wrong and I'm embarrassed since it happened again straight after! Could I benefit from this freezer? I need it. Also could I use any food that was in it? and if not could my family at least?

Hello,
Although what you di was incorrect and you should make sure to be more carful for now on, however the freezer and everything inside it are fine to use. This is for a number of reasons. One of them is because the prohibition not to benefit from melacha done on Shabbos only applies to things that were created from the chillul Shabbos. However here you didn't create anything by opened the fridge door, as the food was edible before you opened it.
