Question:
I was going to put the plastic (sealing) cover onto a thermos for my son and the cover fell on the floor (near the fleishig side of our small kitchen). I don't have any reason to really suspect there was any fleishigs on the floor (as far as I know no one ate fleishigs yesterday) [I think I felt the bottom of the plastic and there was nothing there, maybe I also looked and didn't notice anything - though it's a black cover].
I don't even know what the halachic status of the plastic which probably only ever touched hot water (from a milchig urn) in a thermos would be (pareve?).
As I'm typing it out, it seems silly and I assume everything is fine?
