- Is it okay if food labeled DE (dairy equipment) comes in contact with Fleishig utensils (a hot tribet used for cholent)?
- Is it permissible even lchatchila to use hot fleishig silverware on food labeled DE (dairy equipment)?

Hello,
Both of your questions ae OK and permitted. This is due to the fact that there essentially is no milk in the product, rather nat bar nat taste. This is even according to the Ashkenazi custom of not eating nat bar nat of milk with meat, however if it only came in contact with a meaty utensil, and there isn’t any real meat on it, it is permitted. Note; The above applies only if the product doesn’t have a sharp taste, however if it has a sharp taste, then it may not be eaten with fleishig cutlery.
