Question:
Our 3-year old found a slice of avocado, that had fallen out of a piece of sushi (with fish) one of our other kids had been eating. She then threw it in a big pot with a fresh warm liquid (sauce) and chicken inside. I don't know how hot it was. Our 6 year old claims steam was coming from the pot upon opening the lid. Keep in mind that it's very cold in our house, so it might not be yad soledes bo. After all, 3 year old was playing with the food without complaining about the heath.
There were 3 packages of chicken legs in that pot. Do we have to discard the food now? It was only a slice of avocado from a sushi piece that was inside the pot. No actual fish. However, the avocado did touch fish while still inside the sushi...
Answer:
Throw out that piece of avocado and the chicken is permitted to weate chicken etc. are permitted to eat. This is because there was only a minimal amount of fish oil on tha avocado which was botil in the chicken.
Best wishes
