Question:
I parked in a parking lot that required taking a ticket to pay at exit. When I arrived at exit the gate was up and the payment machine wasn't accepting my ticket. What should I do? (I left without paying - I am in Israel - the owner is probably Jewish)
Answer:
You have to find some way to pay it back to the company. Try tracking down the owner, wither by a sign in the parking lot, of online etc. If you speak with a manager of the company, they might be able to waive he fee, but not if it is only some low-level attendant. Additionally, when you send them the money get a receipt from them, this way you will know that the money wasn’t pocketed by the worker that you gave it to.
