wooden cutting board with handles - mikvah?

Question:

Are the handles of a wooden cutting board, cut out of the sides of the board, considered a "beit kibul", rendering the cutting board as needing mikvah? Or are they not, because they are not designed for holding food?

Answer:

Hello,

There is no need to tovel it, as we don't have to tovel wood.

Best wishes
