Not recommended liquid medicine washed in the sink

Question:

Good Morning. I was wondering if there is guidance l'chatchila and b'dieved regarding washing out small plastic cups/syringes in which we give our children medicine.
(The CRC says certain ibuprofen etc. are "not recommended". Not all brands are mentioned on their list).
I assume if someone washed a small cup out with hot water (without using soap) the sink is still Kosher (maybe because it's iruy kli sheini/maybe the amount of non kosher is battel?)? Is that correct?
But maybe there is a preferred way to do it (soap or something else)?

Answer:

The sink is still kosher, it is preferable though to wash it out with soap and water that isn’t hot. It is also preferable to get a children’s medicine that is recommended.

Best wishes
