Clean Clothes after Davening

Question:

Dear Rabbi

I know that we have to be careful that no tzo'ah is on our clothes by davening. However, often my clothes down there get dirty, not from using the bathroom, but from breaking wind. It is not always easy to clean off. Must i make sure to change if that is the situation? And what if I am not home and cannot change?

Answer:

Hello,

Even if a person has some tzoah on an undergarment, if there is another garment covering it, the person may daven and learn. Therefore this should not be a concern. See  Mishna Berura Siman 76- 12.

Best wishes
