Question:
- If my child was eating cholent and he reached on to the dairy counter to get something, I assume if I don’t see any meat there is nothing to worry about (so I’m not going to inspect the area carefully).
- But if I would notice that his hands were dirty and he got cholent onto the dairy counter, can I still assume the counter just needs to be cleaned off and is kosher?
- (Can I assume the food on his hands was not “yad soledes bo”? Do I need to inspect to see if it could be a davar gush in that spot?)
Answer:
Hello,
- Correct.
- Wipe off the place that is dirty, and that in sufficient.
- A persons hands will not get yad soledes bo, so you don't have to worry about that.
Best wishes
