Question:
Hi Rabbi, I am doing a multi day allergy patch test where they applied an adhesive patch with different chemical exposures (tiny amounts of gel or other liquid form) to stay on from Friday morning to be taken off on Sunday. The purpose is testing for an allergy. I didn't think anything of this regarding Shabbos beforehand, but now I'm not so sure.
If this wasn't allowed, is there anything I could do to make up for it?

You may apply the patch, on Friday morning and keep it on you the whole Shabbos, because you aren’t doing anything on the Shabbos itself.
