Scissors on table when bentching

Question:

I know that one should not say Birchas HaMazon when there is a knifes on the table. But what if there is a scissors on table? Can one Bentch then? Does it make a difference if it is a child's scissors or a sharp one? Thank you!

The minhag of removing or covering the knives during bentching is only regarding a knife, not with a scissors, peeler, or can opener.
