Tefillin on both arms

Question:

I am ambidextrous and 3 rabbis (once upon a time) said after consulting with each other that I should wear tefillin on my right arm and then on my left to satisfy all opinions in my situation. Can I wear them at the same time or just one at a time? Also is there anything else I should kn0w about this? Thanks

Answer:

Hello,

You should not wear them at the same time, as it appears to be adding to the mitzvos, by putting on two pairs of tefillin. Rather one after the other. The tefillin should be switched to the other arm after davening, but without saying a bracha.

Best wishes
