Techinically you can however it isn't customary to say it a while after the Yahrzeit. Howeve there ae numerous other things that can be done to help the departed soul's neshoma, such as learning Mishnayos, Saying Tehillim, doing chesed, giving tzedakah. All of these things are very helpful to the niftar.
