Moving bones on Shabbos

I want to put big bones in my cholent that dont have any meat or marrow on/in them, are there any problems of muktzh, (how should i scoop out cholent)

Hello,

The bone would be muktza, being that right now it doesn’t have any use to you. If it is not bothering you, then don’t move it. However, if it is in the way, and disturbing the serving of the cholent, you can scoop the bone out with a ladle, as this is “tiltul min hatzad”, ( moving the muktza indirectly) and it is permitted to move it “l’tzrech davar hamutar) for the benefit of a permitted item, or it’s place. When you take scoop out the bone, it will automatically come along with some cholent, so it wouldn’t be an issue of borer.
