I selected a fork from a mixture because I wanted to give my child yogurt so I used the fork right now so it was for immediate use but I knew he wouldn't need to eat yet (I just had to get to shul) is that borer on the one hand I used it right away but it wasn't necessary to scoop the food for him right now thank you
Answer:
Merely taking it out of the mixture is not considered using it for immediate use. However if you used it for any use, even if it wasn't related to feeding your son, it is considered for immediate use.

The questioner seems to say that he himself used the fork immediately, so that it wasn't just for later.
