Question:
I sifted a kilo of flour that was in perfect condition. When I made the dough, I forgot to add more flour, so I used a new package and sifted it directly onto the already-made dough. It turned out that package was contaminated. What should I do with the dough?
Answer:
Hello,
Assuming that the sifter that you used is a proper sifter, then you can assume that flour that saw already sifted into the dough was totally clean. Therefore, you may use the dough without a problem, as the sifter cleaned it of any bugs.
