Question:
I know its difficult to ask Eruv questions but think my basic query is simple: I am in a holiday accommodation in a rural area. My techum of 2000 amos reaches a lake. Nearly the entire lake is out of techum. But is the lake 'absorbed' in the techum, allowing me to walk around it on Shbs?
Pls do not put this online:

Answer:
Hello,
In you link, I don't see lake, regardless, if it is rural area, and there is more than 70 amos between houses, the 200 ama count will start, and once it starts it will not stop bec ause ofthe lake. It might be possible to put an eruv techumin near the lake, put in order to determine this, I would need to see exactly where you are staying, where the lake is, and where you want to walk.
