Question:
I am in the process of preparing dough for this coming Shabbat and for The upcoming Yomim Tovim. Since it is very difficult for me to bake 5 lbs of flour I usually make a batch of dough and freeze and bake when needed. For the Yomim Tovim I am preparing small batches of dough instead of one big batch and will bake as needed. How would I do the Hafrashat Challah if each batch is only 3-4 cups of flour?
Answer:
It depends on how many bags you have in the freezer, but if each bag is 4 cups, and you have 3 bags, then put the three bags together, in one bag, and you can take off without a bracha, but if you will have more than 16 cups, than you will be able to take with a bracha.
Best wishes
