Hello,
If he was m’kayem Tefillah btzibbur of not, I can’t answer. However, there is a machlokes, if a person forgot one of the things that have to be inserted in Shemona Esrei, and has to repeat it, do we look at it as if he didn’t daven at all. Or do considered it as if he davened, however he has to repeat Shemona Esrei because, he can’t just say it itself. See Mishna Berura 108-32, who brings a machlokes Rishonim regarding this.
