May one wear gloves while praying, making brachos, or learning Torah?

Hello,
It is permitted to wear gloves when learning Torah or saying brachos. However, the poskim[1] say that while davening Shemona Esrei one should not wear gloves, as one usually would not stand non front of a dignitary with gloves on. The poskim however do say that this only applies to gloves worn for fanciness, such as white gloves[2], which are meant to bring out the person’s stature or elegance, or work gloves, which are disrespectful to wear in front of an important person. However, if it is cold, and the person is wearing the gloves in order to keep warm, and this will help him daven, then they may be worn.
