Question:
All these goys act like they’re high and mighty, yet they are here to only serve us. What do I do, Rabbi? I can’t hold my anger in any longer.
Answer:
Your feelings are important and understood. You long to see the honor of the Jewish nation restored as the nation chosen by Hashem. Your desire for the honor of Hashem and His nation to be recognized is genuine. Know that you are not alone in these feelings—Hashem desires this, and all of us Jews share this hope and pray daily for its realization.
On the other hand, the sad truth is that the Gentiles are correct. When Yitzchok gave Esav his bracha, he told him, “You will live by the sword, and you will serve your brother (Yackov), and when he sins, you will break his yoke from your neck”. This is the unfortunate circumstance that we are presently in. We sinned while we had the Bais Hamikdash; it was destroyed, and we were sent into exile. Until we correct ourselves properly and Hashem redeems us from this exile, we are subjected to the nations. We pray and do whatever we can to hasten the coming of Moshiach, so we can return to our former honor and respect, but until then, this is what is presently decreed.
May Hashem bring Moshiach soon and restore world order to the way it is intended to be.
Best wishes
