Question:

1. The shulchan aruch says (122) that if someone is in middle of elokai netzor and the chazzan is up to Kedushah then he should be mikatzer and finish up so that he can say Kedushah.

What if someone doesn’t want to finish yet because he still has personal requests? Can he stop, say Kedushah, and continue davening?

2. May one prepay maaser or must he wait until he makes money and take off from that money maaser?

Thank you!

Answer:

Hello,

  1. It is preferred[1] to hurry up, in order to say kedusha with everyone, however it isn’t an absolute obligation.
  2. One may prepay maaser, and then take it from the money he will earn later.

Best wishes
