we had a large snowstorm here in the east coast and now all is frozen. Parking is very limited do to the snow. We were wondering if you shovel out a spot near your house obviously its derech eretz for noyone to take the spot one worked on , but is it more tha that also. Was the one who did the work koneh that area to park even though its a reshus harabim and have the baalus to that because he put in effort so it would even be stealing also to park there thank you

I am not aware that the person has any rights to the parking spot after removing his car. I am from New York and there was no such idea that if a person shovels out the snow to take his car out, that that spot is his until the snow clears.
