Hello, is it okay to have a non Torah book that contains the word G-d in English, in the bathroom? (I am not talking about religious books, but for example a textbook where the author writes "thank G-d" or something.) Thanks.

It depends on who he is referring to. If he is a gentile and referring to their avoda zara, there isn’t any issue with taking it into the bathroom.
