My non-Jewish friend has this Dutch Mini Pancake maker for his restaurant. However, he would like to promote it for kosher. I told him it may require koshering but was not sure of the method. My friend assured me that it has only used premixed pancake which has a kosher symbol with D because of Chalav Stam. Also, would it be considered Bishul Akum/ Pas Akum for a restaurant if it’s possible to Kasher it?

The real issue here is that the store owner is not considered reliable that he only used it with kosher products. Therefore, we have to assume that it is really treif. But even before addressing this issue, customers are not allowed to go to a gentile store and eat his pancakes, even if that store has a proper hechsher. When he gets a hechsher, they will advise him on what to do.
