When reciting Birchas Hatorah and in the middle of vhaarev na would I answer to kaddish and if yes what parts.

Hello,
In middle of Vharev na, being that it is a “bracha arucha”, it’s halachos are similar to birkas kriyas shema regarding answering kaddish etc. Therefore one may answer amen yehei smei, and amen after “d’amiram b’alma”. He may also answer the pesukim of kadosh and Boruch to kedusha. He may also answer borchu, and amen of h’kel hakadosh and shomeia tehillah of chazaras hashatz.

ע' קצות השלחן ס' נ' אות י"א וז"ל "באמצע הברכה אסור להפסיק בשום דבור ואפילו לענות קדיש וקדושה אסור בכל הברכות הקצרות כמו ברכות השחר וברכות הנהנין וברכות המצות. אבל באמצע ברכה ארוכה קצת כמו אשר יצר, המעביר שנה, וכיצא מותר להפסיק לקדיש וברכו וקדושה כמו באמצע ברכות ק"ש שיתבאר להלן (מ"מ אם הפסיק סמוך לברוך יש לו לחזור ולהתחיל איזה תיבות מקודם חתימת הברכה, וכחתימ הברכה, כשאמר בא"י צריך לגמור הברכה, ואסור להפסיק. וכן בהחילת הברכה לא יפסיק עד שיאמר איזה תיבות אחר מלך העולם שיהי' עכ"פ דומה לברכה קצרה".
